On Friday, April 29th, we arrived at beautiful Mallorca and stayed here for a week. We had the best time in Cala D’or, a popular village in the southeast. If I should describe the island in one sentence, I’d say: Mallorca is a beautiful Island with lots of nature and lots of bays with clear blue water and lots of Palms. Because of the fact we went in May, it wasn’t very crowded at the beaches. The day we arrived at our apartment called ‘Serena Sol’, we spent our day at the swimming pool and we discovered Cala D’or and it’s cozy streets.
The day after, it was a little bit cloudy so we stayed in Cala D’or at the bay nearby our apartment.
On Sunday we went to Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the island, and we walked through the old town. Unfortunately lots of shops were closed, because it was Liberation Day. We lunched at a nice square and in combination with the bright sun it was a perfect day. On monday we drove to the harbour of Porto Christo and next we went back to our village. We ended the day in a restaurant after a long day at the beach.
The last three days were amazingly sunny, so each day we went to Cala Mondrago early in the morning. The water was too cold to swim in in my opinion, but I had a great time laying on the beach. I can really recommend visiting this bay, it gives me the feeling like I’m in paradise if you know what I mean. We ate at the beach two times and we amused ourselves by relaxing. Overall, it was a great holiday and I’m missing it already. Have you ever been to Mallorca?
